Dodi is a Lymphatic Specialist who was trained at OSU. She offers a combination of lymphatic drainage, adhesion/scar tissue therapy, and other flushing strokes to patients who have undergone cosmetic, orthopedic, facial, or general surgery. These sessions can help reduce swelling and pain, break down hard spots caused by fluid reabsorption and scar tissue, increase mobility and circulation, speed up the recovery process, and improve aesthetic results for cosmetic procedures. Research has shown that those who invest in post-op massage as part of their aftercare plan recover 1/6 of the time compared to those who do not. The treatment protocols may vary depending on the procedure. Clients with specific cosmetic procedures may be advised to schedule up to 3 sessions per week, while many orthopedic and general surgery patients may only need to be seen weekly or bi-weekly.
